Kitchen vs a Kitchenette

What's the difference? I am looking for a single occupancy PG in one of these neighborhoods..coming from Mumbai to Delhi in 10 days

..budget is 8k rupees per month or less...

A kitchen is a well defined place in a house/apartment.

A kitchenette is just a slab or two in the corner of a room....

yep , pretty right.... depends on the house though.. and to some degree the owners opinion

A kitchen , will be fair sized room with enough space to out kitchen basics and appliances in , a kitchenette will essentially have a slab and a sink and quite small..

But when i mentioned that it depends on how the owner describes it - one of the places i stayed in def col , D block , had a 10 X 8 room which was referred to as a kitchentte but in all fairness was a good sized kitchen.... its just that the landlord had a kitchen which was about 15 X 15 , so he probably thought anything smaller could not be called a kitchen...

Take a look at multiple options.
