Just to say thank you!
Well,we have finally arrived in 'Good old Delhi'! I would like to thank all the indiamike contributors for being patient with my endless stream of questions, providing prompt and very helpful solutions. Getting your perspective on life here (the good, the bad and the ugly) helped in many ways. So thank you all once again. I plan to stay on board this list, because there is still so much to read and enjoy!
Interestingly the summer heat is not as scary as I had envisioned - so far so good, and this has given a few days of breathing time to settle in a bit. Pretty happy to see the gulmohar blooms peeping through the haze!
and to top it all the first bird I heard in the morning was ----- a Koyal!,

Thank you RWeHavingFunYet for posting that! I've been living in Bangalore for a year and a half and have been wondering all this time what bird was making this sound.
I've never actually seen one, but hear them all the time.
