Is there a group of cyclists that ride every week anywhere in Delhi?

My wife and I do a fair amount of cycling. Around 80kms a ride every weekend.

Is there an established group and are there good cycling routes around Delhi? I assume it requires chucking the bikes in the back of the car and doing a drive out of the city.

Just curious.

BTW are there good bike shops for repairs/parts etc

While I do not about any such bike enthusiasts at Delhi. There are plenty of Bicycle repair shops. In which locality are you planning to stay ?

And one thing, in Delhi Bike & Cycle are not interchangeable words. Here a bike means a motorcycle and a cycle means, well a bicycle.

Hence, if you ask anybody about a bike repair shop, he may guide you to a Motorcycle Repair shop.

Hi - ITDP are tied up with the delhi cycling club. the club generally organises rides once a month (there is one tomorrow at 8am from patel chowk station), however probably not the intensity that you are looking for. Do join the delhi cycling club google group - I am sure you will be able find rides that are going longer distances.
