House required in Delhi for rent

Hi,

A friend (actually a couple) along their 3 year od daughter are coming to Delhi from Canada in August (and will stay till Jan) to do some research work. For these 6 months they need a furnished accomodation somewhere in Delhi and their budget is around $500 per month.....

can anyone help (dont really want to go after agents .... specially about whom i am not sure)....

Thanks in Advance

HS

Moderator Note...

Hi, Link2hs, I know it can be confusing picking the right one, but do choose just one forum/thread for your post. Multiple posts are against the site rules.

I deleted the other one.

Hi Sidharth,

Well their initial description of the house was a quiet place somewhere in south Delhi with 3 rooms and independent access and a garden if possible (hahaha) when I told them the rent for something like that (which can be around 50K+) they have fallen back to 2 rooms (at least), if possible an independent access and the area should be good (anywhere in Delhi, but not remote or off shoot places which are probably not safe in night)....maybe places like amar colony, lajpat nagar, r.k. puram ....

Thanks for any help

20,000 is a good budget and will give enough options in South Delhi.. that list can also include Safdarjung, HauzKhas, Malvia Nagar etc..

My concern is with the furnishing bit of it all.... to what degree to they require the place to be furnished... if extensive then im not sure whether the budget will accommodate that..

take a look at this link

http://www.magicbricks.com/property/...t/1981931.html

But this might be gone now....when are the coming in...and how are they planning to freeze on a place...get to delhi and then look around or will you do it for them?

Hi Puchoo,

Well they are staying for 6 months so basically they wont like to buy something for such a short while.....basically they will be looking for a complete kitchen and furnished bedrooms etc...

Yes i will be looking at the place before they come (they would be Ok staying in a guest house or maybe at my place for few days before they shift to the new house)

Renting furniture is an option. By complete kitchen if you mean kitchen with all utensils, oven, stove, cutlery, crockery I have my doubts.
