Horse Riding in Delhi

I'm moving to Delhi in a month or so, and want to ride horses. I know that there are a couple of places but I am looking to know if anyone has experience with that. I will likely live around Malcha Marg, Santiniketan, and work around the embassy area. So driving out to Gurgoan is not a likely scenario for a regular lesson.

thanks

I've heard there's horse riding at the sports club in Saket.

Please make sure you research your riding facilities thoroughly. From my experience (as a horse person, 3-day eventing to be specific) horse care isn't nearly as important as it should be. It's common for horses even in upscale riding facilities to be wormy, underweight and have terrible hoof care if any at all. Most of the horses I've seen being ridden had some sort of lameness issue that no one seemed interested in addressing.

I'm not saying that NO horses in India are taken care of, just that you'd be very wise to be very careful.

Army Polo Club

A colleague rides at the Army Polo Club--where you can ride and not play polo, or learn if you want. I will likely look into that. I am moving to delhi next month, so I will try it out then. I gather it is not cheap to join but it is pretty well run.
