Gyms in Delhi

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on IM, and I'm not sure if "Moving to Delhi" is the best place to post my question, so I apologize in advance...

I'm going to be shifting to Delhi next week, and I want to join a gym/fitness center there. I know I can find out more once I'm settled in, but I've been trying to search a bit on the internet to see what's out there and how much I should expect to pay. I can't really find anything.

Do any of you know any decent gyms in Delhi and how much they cost? I'm going to be living on a pretty tight budget, so nothing super fancy. Either all women or co-ed gyms are fine with me. I'll be living in Kalkaji Extension, so I guess that general area would be most ideal.

The best gym around kalkajee is in Chandiawaala Estate---its a huge complex with a few offices, a manaagment institute and some other stuff. It is air conditioned and has okay instructors.

Just making sure that a good elliptical fitness trainer can be bought in Delhi? I don't think it makes sense to bring ours over from the States but I have never seen any of them in India. Can they be purchased for home use? Thanks.

along the same lines....does anyone know good gyms in the JNU/Munirka/Priya area. Not the talwalkars at Priya, something else pls.
