Doctors/Hospitals in Gurgaon
Hello all:
I need a favor from you. Can you give me the name and contact of a good pediatrician for my kids? Somebody who doesn't prescribe medicines for every little thing like a common cold. Here, in the US, they let the kids build resistance and only give medicines when absolutely necessary and of course for bacterial infections. From my experience of doctors in Chennai at least, we were given a list of antibiotics for a viral infection. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. Also, I need a reference for a good Pediatric Oncologist. Do they have private clinics or are they attached to hospitals only? Which hospital in Gurgaon is famous for the excellent care they provide? Has any of you experienced it personally? Where is it located? I see there are plenty of hospitals listed on the net. But, I would like to get a name from any of you who has personally experienced their care. Thanks for your help. Really appreciate it. Vidya. |

We consult a husband and wife team for our kids, both are pediatricians. Husband works at Max hospital and wife at one of the hospitals in Sector-56. We see them at their home wich is nearer to us. After going through normal cycle of looking for the right pediatrician we've settled for them. They also do not advocate use of antibiotics till it is absolutely necessary and explains the problem and what they are going to do about it in detail.
can you use PM on IM yet? Let me know I'll send you their details. BTW they've moved back to India after working for sometime in UK, if that makes them more understanding to expat and NRI point of view.
