Delhi: Air conditioner rental?
Please could anyone advise on how much we should be paying to rent air conditioning units. We would probably go for 2 split units and 3 window units.
Also, if anyone can recommend a good dealer in Delhi that would also be helpful. Thanks Last edited by machadinha : Jan 28th, 2008 at 18:09. Reason: adjusted title |

I guess you are talking about 1.5 ton units...
A friend rented one couple of years back and paid Rs.3000 for a year... However I acted smart and purchased an Old AC for Rs.4500, including servicing, cartage and fitting. Because the rental people also have old AC and they guzzle equal amount of electricity as an old unit you might purchase.. |

Shashank bahi is right, most of the rented AC's are very inefficient locally assembled products.
