Buying a sofa in South Delhi
Hi,
Been a fan for some time and this is my first post. I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation of a good place to buy furniture (been to Kirti Nagar). The main thing I am looking for is a nice comfortable sofa. :-) Thanks!!!! |

After a long search (including Kirti Nagar) we found a very comfortable sofa at Lifestyle Furniture in the basement of MGF Plaza Mall in Gurgaon.

Where exactly are you staying. If you are in Delhi then you can visit the lifestyle showroom in Nodia as well , in addition to Gurgaon, they have a huge selection be it fabric, leather, etc.
Also depends partly on your budget , places like lifestyle will be more expensive than some of the local markets known for furniture but at the same time there could be other issues with them such as extensiveness of the range .... additional details preferences might help in being able to give you some info! |

LOL!
Thanks for the responses. been looking off and on for the last 4 months. set out today in search for a sofa and ended up buying a royal enfield bullet electra motorcycle. I am really looking for a soft sofa. I live right across the street from neruh place. budget is anywhere from 20,000-40,000. Just want something confy I can pass out on. I am thinking of just printing out a pic and having it made with a local carpenter . any thoughts? Thanks!! |

You can also look at Godrej incidentally, thats another big and popular brand in India and are goo. We have , not a sofa, bought furniture from them over the last year or so and are pretty happy.

I forget the exact name of the colony but both are opposite to each other and 10 minutes away from where you stay.
There is a furniture market in either East of Kailash or Kailash Colony which has good options sometimes as well. I dont know if you will find contemporary designs but its worth a look. Most of the shops actually make the furniture so there is no shortage of carpenters etc if you decided to go in for a DIY mode either.. |
