Aquaguard Integra7 ?
I'm looking for a water purification system. Aquaguard seems to be a popular make in India. Does anyone have any feedback on these, or any knowledge/experience of the latest model, Integra7 (available only in the major metros, I believe)?

not the latest model, but I used an older one for about 6 months and never experienced any ill effects from drinking its output.
Also it had a speaker and at the press of a button would play an awful mono-phonic tune while you filled your water bottle (like those irratating car reversing alarms). I never noticed this until I accidentaly pushed it and then spent ages trying to find where the sound was coming from, honestly a song from your water filter? what will they think of next? |

Oh My God! I'm glad I did not buy one of those!
I bought a very expensive Zero-B (Ion-Exchange, I think is the company, Zero-B the domestic branch) machine, but I'm not so happy with the taste. However, out tank is currently filthy, so it may have to do with the quality of the input water. I was talking to my doc the other day: he said to boil the water even when it has been through a purifier --- but hey, the reverse osmosis machine is just a domestic version of what the bottled water suppliers use.
