3 Month Sublet - South Delhi 2 Bdrm Flat
Hi am in expat (US) and I have to leave New Delhi unexpectedly for personal reasons before my lease ends in July. I am looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease. The property is available with a few days notice.
Here are the details: 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Living Room, 2 Balconies, Kitchen, + Rooftop Terrace, Overlooking Park Price: Rs. 29,000 (three months left, then can renew at 26,000 with landlord) *There is NO brokerage fee or down payment, as you are assuming my lease. However I do need to receive the remaining balance now as I am vacating* Available Immediately Colony: Jangpura Extension, South Delhi (by Defence Colony and Lajpat Nagar) Furnishings: The house is furnished including some standard and some very special items • 2 New Samsung Air Conditioners • Broadband Internet (in my name, but you could take over for 3 remaining months) • 3 person sofa • 2 matching chairs • Coffee Table • 1 glass and steel kitchen table with 4 chairs • New Large Sanyo Refrigerator • New Samsung Microwave • New Washing Machine • Redone Kitchen Cabinets • 2 Separate Kings Size Beds, one in each room. Each bed can be split into two and used a day bed. • Overhead fan(s) in every room • Small LG Television with TV stand • Gas Range with Tank • Two Outdoor Painted Wicker Chairs for front balcony • 3 Potted Trees Other Features: • Private rooftop terrace • Two balconies front and back • Overlooks a park • Beautiful Neighborhood one of the Greenest in Delhi • Walking Distance to Defense Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Banks, ATMS, Shops, Restaurants, Rickshaw Stand • Marble Floors • 2nd Floor I have also bought the following and can include them for you to use and then keep. • Fitted Bed Sheets and Coverings with Matching Throw Pillows • Simple Teak Desk (specially carpentered to my standards) • Maps of India and Delhi • Full Length Mirror • Cleaning Supplies and Detergents • 2 racks for storage • Large Drinking Water Tap • Matching Shower Curtain and Rod • Cooking Supplies including nonstick pans and cutlery Note about layout. I use the second bedroom as my personal office and guest room. In order to get to the back bedroom you need to walk through the middle bedroom. It’s not a problem for me, or for many other living arrangements, but it may be if you need two absolutely private rooms as the middle room is not. Neighborhood: I also have a full time English-speaking cook and cleaner, who I trust very much. He will now be looking for work and could stay with the apartment. I spent a lot of time getting all the little things together to finish the place and you could simply move in be ready to go. You will need to pay the electric bill which the landlord has kept in his name. I have not actually ever got a bill yet (only been here one month) but I think it’s reasonable. My landlord is an Indian Family and they have been absolutely wonderful helping me get settled in Delhi. They are very hospitable and have me over for tea frequently at their home which is around the corner, and not on site. Are you 100% sure you are allowed to sub-let this place at all?
