Water & Water Coolers

Three quick questions to anyone who has settled in Chennai:

Where can I buy a simple water cooler for a good price?;

Where can I arrange regular delivery of water bottles for the cooler; and

(and here's the big one)

Which water provider do you recommend? To date I've settled on Himalaya and Aquafina. Nearly everything else has a strong chemical taste (and Aquafina isn't that brilliant). Any suggestions?

For the price you are paying I'm slightly surprised that it doesn;t include a water treatment unit!

Many people recommend Bisleri. It comes from one of MNCs, coke or pepsi, I forget which, and you might find that politically unacceptible (or you might not bother!). I don't know that the big-company thing is any guarantee...

Your local corner shop will probably deliver to you.

I don't know about a cooler. We just keep a 2ltr jug in the fridge for when we want cold. I'm thinking to get a traditional earthenware container (they make them with plastic taps at the bottom!) to see if it really is effective

If a high-tech solution apeals to you... there is a company that makes a unit that produces water from the air. Two machines in one: a de-humidifier and a drinking water producer! No shortage of humidity here...
