Toilet tissue holder

Where can I find an inexpensive one that attaches to a tile wall without drilling holes? "Fancy" stores and regular household plastic stores like Ratna and Kanchi don't have them.

Any ideas?

All the ones I've seen in the UK screw into the wall, and toilet roll holders are far more common over there.

How would it fix then, rubber suckers? Can't imagine that working too well, have you had one before?

I've seen those that attach with just some adhesive tape, without drilling any holes in the bathroom tiles, Haylo.. But no idea where you can buy them in Chennai.

Want to try a bit of loctite and see if it works on the tile? Available in single use doses at even small hardware shops.

Although I have seen other adhesive stuff (towel rail hooks etc), haven't come across this. Have a feeling a toilet paper holder will not work too well with adhesive- or even loctite. For one, just changing the toilet paper roll can be a stressful exercise for the holder, even if s/he is human.

Bloody cheek, calling us names like that.

Try the building/bathrooms shops in Kutchery Road. Or, first, try the bathroom shop in Adyar, opposite the end of LB Road.

Or try the rather more fancy place next-door to Ratna Fan House in T Nagar.

Or there is a much more fancy builder's hardware shop in Spur Tank Road.

Try bathroom shops, rather than household shops.

As the name( 'Lock Tight' !!) suggests, it is a glue with very strong adhesive( bonding)strenth. It is typically used for industrial applications( where objects under heavy loads/stresses need to be held together), or consumer applications where you definitely cannot afford a failure( think picture frames on a wall).
Be careful while using, if you wet your fingers and hold them together, you could be in trouble!

Sorry... Adyar end. At the end of LB Road, instead of turning right to go over the bridge, go straight accross, and you come to the shop. Parryware and stuff.

In Velachery

Latta Supermarket, off Velachery Main Rd (about 1/2 km north of Spencers), has plastic ones with suction cups that attach to the wall.

Well, congratulations that your quest has come to an end.

Do post again and say whether it's sticking to the wall okay, these are serious issues here!
