Painters in Chennai

Hoping someone knows of some good painters in Chennai, preferrably as far south down ECR as possible. We just got ripped off by some, so I'm looking for another crew.

I knew someone in Bhopal long ago. But, he has been "discovered" and gets big bucks for his canvases now..

Are you talking decorators or artists?

We have a good decorator painter working for us at the moment.

This guy is skilled, and can make the inside plywood surface of a kitchen cupboard look more like real wood than the outside teak veneer!

Should be finished soon. However he is pretty attached to the engineer/designer who is overseeing the job for us and may not want to work independently.

He lives centrally --- but we are already some way down the ECR. How much work do you want done?

Sorry, should have made myself clearer....I'm looking for someone to paint the interior of our house, not a painting.

Yes, it's a BIG house (OK OK WE'RE NOT PAYING FOR IT, WE HAD VERY LITTLE CHOICE IN THE MATTER, AND THE SIZE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY - I can't even find my own kids in it! So don't bother with the comments). Anyway, there are lots of cathedral ceilings, which is why I'm not interested in the job myself. Don't do paint and very tall ladders.

I will supply the paint and brushes, etc.; I just need someone reasonably priced. According to my other sources, we were quoted apprx 10 times what we should have been by painter #1.

Unfortunately my other sources live out of the state, so their painters are of no use to us.
