Moving to Chennai in late April

Hi,
was reading your post.. we have a gorgeous one bedroom apartment just off chamiers road with a terrace and large balcony. We had it furnished and rented out by paramount airways for their crew.. and that was just the worst experience ever.
we are looking for some one to take the apartment for a year preferably but are open to negotiations on time. It is beautifully furnished with furniture and electronics and extremly centrally located ( 5 mins from madras club, amma nana and park sheraton hotel.) I can send you pictures if you would like. We were getting a rent of 35,000 per month plus utilities and maintanance from paramount. As the rental market in chennai has fallen, we have dropped the rent to 30,000 for a one year lease. I live in hyderabad and I will be in chennai next friday, taking back possesion of the flat from paramount, cleaning it up and showing it to real estate agents! do contact me if you know anyone whose interested. We have lived in new york for 10 years and are quite well travelled so i know the place will suit anyone looking for a private yet central,well maintained & contemporary place to live. thanks! R
