Looking for 1 bedroom or studio apartment in Chennai

Hi,
I'm looking for a one bedroom or studio apartment in Chennai. It should have hot water, a kitchen, and bathroom. If there is AC it will be better. My budget is around 6,000 Rs./month including utilities. The areas i would like to live are Besant Nagar, Adyar, Nungambakkam and around those areas. Is it possible?

on your "yuck" factor. You might be able to find a studio for 6,000 in Adyar but how painted and clean will it be? All light switches working? Fans? Hot water geyser and AC very unlikely.

2 BR freshly painted w/tile/marble floors, ceiling fans, hot water showers and AC in ea. BR in Besant Nagar is around 20,000; a 1-BR flat "added to the top of someone's home" in the same area is 11,000--No AC.
