I'm moving to Chennai
Howdy all,
i'm now coming to chennai, joining a company over there. this si the third time in three years that i have landed up at this place. earlier, when i was in the IT industry, i was sent for a project to chennai on a short term transfer. then, during my mba, summers were in chennai. both these times i stayed with friends in shollinganallur (outskirts). now, after my post-grad, i am again ending up in chennai . seems liek we both have a thing going for each other. it is a far cry from the hills of my native uttaranchal, but i'm sure i'll have a nice time. anyways, my office is in t nagar. so if any of u can please help me find a 1 bhk or a room (with attached loo), or have any contatcs of brokers, etc, please do let me know. can i get a 1 bhk in the range of 2.5-3 k ?? i am looking to stay in t nagar so that it is close to office. and next time there r any IM chennai meets, pls do ping me up.cheers, almoraboy

T.NAGAR area is a crowded place and a bit difficult to get a room or an aprtment for rent so easily.
Suggest you to scan "Hindu" newspaer specilly saturday edition which has " Property plus" where in you can find places for rent. Till you get a good room or an apratment, suggest you to take a room in a lodging(there are many). It should n't be a problem for you to get around 3k ruppes but only needs some extra efforts and patience. |

Yep, T Nagar is one of Chennai's biggest and best centres for shopping. It is always busy (best day to vist: Tuesday. Inauspicious day for shopping
).T Nagar locals regularly complain that they cannot park near their own houses. But hey! if you have to work there I suppose you can balance all that against being able to walk to work!

Congrats on the new home!
What's a hk? (you have two of them) ? Sounds good value, especially being near to your work. |
