Household Help
Please share any ideas/recommendations on ways to find good household help. My sister moved to Chennai a year and a half ago and is looking for a full-time cook and someone who can help with her little one (3 years old). Thanks! Janani

Help
Rosalyn supplies household help who speak English to some extent. You will get the person's CV, ration card photocopy, etc. Do not expect to find a maid/cleaner/cook for less than 4,000/mo. You have to pay Rosalyn one month's salary if you are happy after a few weeks' probationary period.

If she holds a foreign passport, she can join Overseas Women's Club (owcmadras.com) and look in their forum for help.
