Hep B 2nd injection & hairdresser
Where can I go to get my 2nd Hep B injection? I live in Velachery. Do I need to buy the serum myself first?
Also, I need a hairdresser that can cut wavy/curly Caucasian hair. Suggestions? |

A decent local hospital will give you the Hepatitis B shot no problem.
Can't advise any further; residents will no doubt be in to give you the details. Barbers will work to your order like they've never done any different before, was my experience. May not be the latest western fashions though, but explaining what you want goes a long way. With the countless ethnic varieties going around, there's no reason to assume they'll have trouble with your hair as such in any case.

Bounce in Hispani Centre in Nungambakkam is a fashionable salon. I guess they would have the expertise to work with curly hair as well....

Hairdressers are a topic much discussed amongst the expatriate wives. In fact, I would say that there are more hairdressing horror stories than there are labor and delivery stories!
![]() At any rate, I have not heard of any success stories with Caucasian hair. I have heard of 3-hour highlights, botched cuts, 5 hairdressers to a head, blonds inadvertantly turned brunettes, etc. Myself I opted to grow it long. I did, however, go to the Asiana for a trim job and was happy with the results. She only did a trim, though, so it was very basic. And my hair is not curly. SAHM |

PS Rocky if you are male, my hubby goes to Le Meridien and likes the barber there.
He doesn't trust me to cut his hair. ![]() SAHM |

I went to Bounce in Isphani (sp?) Centre. Did an OK job. Will return for next cut.
