Good schools in Chennai

Hi,

We are planning to move to Chennai in 2008. We have two kids, 10 and 8. I am looking for good schools for them. From what I have seen, most of the good schools are in Adayar or in the heart of the city. We are planning to build a house in the suburbs near Sholinganallur. Is there any good schools in this area?

Thanks

Schools in Chennai follow the following syllabus Matriculation Board, State Board, Central Board or Anglo-Indian Board. You have to first decide what type of school syllabus you are interested and then try to find a school that follows that syllabus. Most of the good schools are in Adyar. We are more inclined towards the Central Board or Matriclulation system. Are there any Central Board schools around Sholinganallur? We can move to any spot in Chennai depending on where our kids go to school.

Thanks.

There is an ICSE board also which you might want to consider. As far as I heard vaels billobong, gateway in that area is good. Check out other schools and their reviews from http://www.chennaimoms.com/schools
