| English tutoring job available Foreign High School students need tutors, weekdays, 3:45-5:45 or so(Alwarpet and Adyar, but they might be able come to your place). Most of them need essay writing skills (some are still in ESL classes, others are in regular English classes) and some need help reading skills. Besides the mechanics of 5-paragraph western essay construction (venn diagram, mind-mapping, outlining) and grammatical structures, you need to be able to walk them through the critical thinking steps necessary to write compare/contrast, etc., essays. Salary is about 1,200 Rs./hour, starting immediately. |

They did tell us, plan your essays; and I never bothered. Damned fancy pay: pity I don't know what a venn diagram is! | |

| Hold it right there, TD.... If we're going to discuss this, we get Rs1,200 an hour for it, right? If not, we're calling a bandh. Or a banhd, bahnd, or where-ever the wretched 'h' goes.... |
