Are there any Deadheads in Chennai or Massachusetts?
I may be going to see the band on Apr. 19 in Worcester.

Gosh! I thought they didn't perform as The Dead since Jerry Garcia died.
It is a long time since I listened much to their music. I had a deadfest a couple of evenings ago, downloading a couple of live concerts, including one that I went to in London in 1990. I should have loved to have been a deadhead! Given that I was never very good at moderation (not the forum kind ), though, I suspect that I might not have survived mr Owsley's product --- and I'm not talking about sound equipment! I managed to destroy quite enough brain cells as it was . |

Nick, Bobb Weir still holds the folks but whether the music is dead music or dead like music is deabatable.

Greatful Dead; One great Band! If you could share some video of the concert here; would be great.
I hope they can come to Bangalore sometime to perform.Psychedelic music has great and growing number of followers in India. |

Need help w/MP3, etc.
I'd really like to connect with the Deadhead in Chennai. I'd like to get an MP3 player and download live concerts ASAP and perhaps this person can help me out.

Try to connect up with some senior DJ's; they would be able to help you out.

Though I haven't really seen them since 1990 at 5 shows in Germany, I still listen to bootlegs all the time. Saw a few Phil and Dylan shows since Jerry's death. Never saw Ratdog. Don't think I'll see the Dead this time around. If I do, it would be the garden.
You can go to archive.org to download free shows. Or deadlists.com and put in the date and it will transfer you to archive.org youtube.com for videos "some come to laugh the past away. some come to make it just one more day. whichever way your pleasure tends, if you plant ice your gonna harvest wind." Robert Hunter If I ever make it back to India and I'm near Chennai, I'll look you up and we can listen to some good ol' shows. ![]() |
