tennis
This turns out well!
I have 3 men and 1 lady now who wants to play! I even found courts. I am using the ones close to my apartment. They turn out to be ok. I also checked out the stadium at Nungambakkam. They have hard courts, really well maintained. Apparently, it's open for public. I am checking this out tomorrow, when the office is open. More people interested? Level and age doesn't matter. Guys
I am happy to play with anyone who can at least hit the ball. Tennis is best in groups and if Jimara can get a regular group going that would be great,so count me in.( I can bring 2 others who also play, 1 guy and 1 girl) I have played on the courts in Nungambakkam and they are good, down side is they are quite far ( from where I live anyway) and can get very very busy. |

Next year is still 5 months away. Seems like a bit early to arrange a date for a meeting...
If you are really interested, please PM me, I can give you my private email address, so you can contact me when you arrive. Jimara |

I have been asking people for a while if someone wants to hit some balls in Bombay. Apparently a lot more in Madras seem hooked onto the game.

Hi, I will be in Chennai the month of September and would love to play tennis that month. Jimara, can another women join the team even although it is just for 1 month for now?
My level is average. I have been playing for a long time but wouldn't say it made me a strong player, but not weak either and I run after every ball. ![]() BTW, Deewnastaba, I will most likely move to Chennai next year as well, would be nice to play then. |

Hi Red Vapour,
Welcome to India Mike. As this is your first post, just a simple advice. Before posting do check the date of the previous post. You have answered a post that is almost an year old. If you are interested to play tennis, check out the same in Loyola college or go to Anna nagar Club near the roundtana. Raghu

I always frequent the tennis stadium at nungambakkam . But , i never learned to play .My partners cousin gets his coaching and practice at the stadium , but the inclination to play for me is something far fetched .
Most of them at the stadium come there for professional coaching and I dont like to get in the way of people who are wanna be stars ..LOL I can arrange a court at the stadium , if you are ok with a friendly match and a bunch of lazy asses . LOL .. didnt realise the post was a year old |
