I may know of someone who can teach you, but there is no such animal as "accentless". Do you need to concentrate on Grammar/fluency or do you want to reduce your accent as well?

Hey! I don't have an accent. As an upper-middle-class Englishman, my mother made very sure of that.
(   --- but that is how I was brought up. Only later in life does one realise that slightly-posh English is as much an accent as broad Australian)Quote:

its really quite ludicrous in this so-called global village era -
the issues of 'correct' accent [ no swipe at the OP ] as long as one can be understood, i guess, thats all that should matter  grammar and spellings are relative - depending on which side of the atlantic you're on  but yup, i guess call centres need to have them accents - its a customer service thingee ... but still  sheesh - 'centres' has a red line underneath - and nope - aint going to spell check that - hurrumph! :brishti |
