I travel very frequently in India for work and come often to Chennai staying from a few days to a few weeks at a time. If the place is nice I wouldn like to share. Ill pay my share for each month but not stay there the whole time. How are the restaurants near by?

We have a fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment for rent in nandanam extension, this would be about 1.5 km from park sheraton and amma naana, a department store where you can get everything from Khim chi to honey roasted chicken! so if any of you are interested, please do let me know

I am looking for a roommate to join us in a lovely 3BR in Kilpauk. The location is near to the Mummy Daddy Store and Ega Theatre and about a 10 minute auto ride from Egmore and Nungambakkan. It's a clean, fully furnished apartment on a quiet and leafy street, in a fairly quiet and leafy neighborhood. There is a Fitness One gym nearby and there is wireless internet in the apartment. The rent is 35,000 RS per month which split three ways is about 11,666 RS per person, plus utilities and internet charge. The bedroom will be available in March. The lease is over at the end of August 2009 but can easily be renewed.

I come to chennai fairly frequently and would love to share a place where ican always have a room. The area is not too important a I come for meetings and make my own hours.

3 BR flat, marble floors, AC/hot water in bedroom/bathroom, balcony overlooks park but trees screen us from sight. Quiet street about 2 blocks from the beach (close to Ashtalakshmi Temple). Very spacious, lots of light and air.

Rickshaws available 50 m. away, bus lines 29C, 23C, 5E, 47A, 21something are 4 blocks away (near Spencer's). One parking space included.

Rent is 17,500 Rs/mo., plus building maintenance 1,000/mo., maid 2,000/mo, Tata Sky. Electricity cost depends on usage.

I work nights M-F, so if you work days, you will pretty much have the flat to yourself during the week.

My landlord rented my flat out from under me.

There are many available in B.N., now 18-20,000 for 2 or 3 bedrooms. There is the bottom floor of a house right on Coastal Beach Road (owner's daughter lives upstairs, but separate entrances). It gets a sea breeze (hope there's not a tsunami), and porch for sitting out in front. The owners really want me to take it--they have US citizenship and assume I will be a good tenant (I am). THey leave for the US on April 26 to live w/other family.
