A place to stay for a couple for 2,5 months
No, don't worry, I did not get chucked out on the street by our landlord
 I am looking for a place to stay for a volunteer who is coming to Chennai together with her partner for 2,5 months, December to February. Their budget is around Rs. 20,000 a month. I am just breaking my head over where I can put them up. Hostels are an easy options for single girls or bachelors, but a couple is more difficult, especially for such a short time. The place should be somewhere in North Chennai. I have looked at services apartments, but they all seem to cater to the IT/business crowd and are at least Rs. 50,000 a month. Does anybody have any brilliant ideas? (or less brilliant, that's also ok  ) |

It feels a bit silly to answer my own question, but I ended up finding something on Internet. The company I found is called Golden guesthouse network. They charge between Rs. 25000 and 50000 per month, which I think is very reasonable for what they offer. I saw an apartment in Mogappair, but they are in other parts of chennai as well.

Hi! There was an apartment/hotel named Star or Star City and online it said 17,000/month.
