Hi Guys,

Moving from NYC can you please help me with the following:
What is the cost of :
1)Reliable Driver
2)Live in maid/cook
3)2-3 bedroom apts on Cunnigham road, Lavalle Road and the like with 24-7 power water back up and security.(Prestige Apartments Bulidings are prefered)
4)Health Club membership including a pool
5)Electricity Bill for a 3 Bdrm will run 1-2 Ac's for app 6-7 hrs
6)Grocery bill for 3 per month
7)How does one get household help is this from agencies of so can you please recommend a good one
8)What are the good grocery stores in these areas
9)Is it possible to import a left hand drive into India under TR (Transfer of Residence)

Just planning our move to BLR so any advice on the above as well as costs would be greatly valued. Thanks

What is the cost of :
1)Reliable Driver
Yes you will get some reliable driver's for around 6,000/= to 10,000/= per month.
2)Live in maid/cook
Maids/cooks are little problem in bangalore, they are working per hour basis. I am paying 1000/= per month for 3 hours job.
3)2-3 bedroom apts on Cunnigham road, Lavalle Road and the like with 24-7 power water back up and security.(Prestige Apartments Bulidings are prefered)
You have plenty of apartments in banglore especially around the places you have mentioned but it will cost you the sky. Their are quite a nof real estate brokers who can satisfy your needs.
4)Health Club membership including a pool
You can get a health club from 1,000/= to 5,000/= plus.
5)Electricity Bill for a 3 Bdrm will run 1-2 Ac's for app 6-7 hrs
Around 2,000/= to 3,000/=
6)Grocery bill for 3 per month
You have to tell what you want to buy.

You apartment association member might help you to get maids/servants/cooks/crooks etc.

You don't have any crocery store at walkable distances from these area's
