Moving to Marathahalli

Hi,

I will be moving to Bangalore in Feb '09 and I am planning to live in Marathahalli. However, I wanted to learn more about the neighborhood. Can someone please help me with the following questions:

* Is Marathahalli a good residential neighborhood?
* What are some of the popular restaurants/hang-out joints around there?
* How long does it take to commute from Marathahalli to JP Nagar?
* How long does it take to commute from Marathahalli to Central Bangalore (MG road)?
* What are the some of the good residential neighborhoods in Bangalore?

Thanks !!!!

It would take around hour and a half to commute from Maratha-halli to JP Nagar and the traffic could also be a problem.
If you would be working in JP Nagar, Jaya Nagar, Banashankari or even Banerghatta could be a better choice.

Hello,
its good to know that u'll be here soon,
Is Marathahalli a good residential neighborhood?
* What are some of the popular restaurants/hang-out joints around there?
* How long does it take to commute from Marathahalli to JP Nagar?
* How long does it take to commute from Marathahalli to Central Bangalore (MG road)?
* What are the some of the good residential neighborhoods in Bangalore?

Marathhalli is good neighborhood, but its bit out of the city,

From marathhalli to JP Nagar, all depends on d traffic

from marathhalli to MG road, would say in cab 30mins, 3wheeler - 30-40mins, public transport - 40 -60mins.

some of the good neighborhoods r malleswaram (i live there) one of the oldest neighborhoods in d city, its at d hear of the city and close to MG Road and it'll take about 40 - 50mins to get to JP nagar.
Jayanagar is close to JP nagar and is good neighborhood as well, u might wanna find a place to stay there.

If u need any help or advise, feel free to write me (impulsiveaks@gmail.com)
