Traffic in Mysore road is better - as compared to Old madras road & Silkboard-Koramangala areas.
You can stay in Banashankari surroundings & travel by car to Global village would take not more than 30-45 Mins. |

The Road to Global Village is Straight and good and though there r Traffic Jams, its manageable due to the Good Roads and ofcourse the one other advantage U have is,the houses on Rent arnd Kengeri/Rajarajeshwari Nagar are affordable and also,Nearer to Global Village and the city has grown a lot way beyond Global Village and ideally speaking U r not away from the main city. |

You could possibly also try jayanagar, which is another 10 mts away from Banshankari...its a more happenning place and closer to Kormangala and MG road.

If you are looking for the shortest Transit time , then Kengeri Satellite town or Rajarajeshwarinagar would suffice. It won't take you more than 15 mins travel.
If you say some distance is ok, I would look at Basanvangudi or Shankarpuram. Younger crowd ? Weekends are there to Party away, ![]() |

We do aim to be a friendly and helpful forum; we try to be the best!
But we do ask that posts are in English, and we do not accept SMS (Txt) language in that. On reason is that it is hard enough for many native English speakers to understand, but makes following the forum very difficult for our huge number of members to whom English is not their first languge. Hope you understand. It's bcoz we don want ne language prob ![]()

For a good modern residential area basavangudi should be fine. Kengeri satellite town also not bad from the distance point of view. However, if you wanna stay with comopolitan crowd then try Jayanagar, Koramangla, Indiranagar, Some parts of airport road, BTM layout, etc

Where to live?
Hi there :-)
I'm going to work in Bangalore for one year and I'm looking for a place to stay. Could you tell me where are the good places (modern building, nice surroundings, international crowd, etc)? My office will be on Cunninghalm road. |
