Hey there!
My name is Shareen and I am staying in JP Nagar. A friend of mine has just found a one bedroom apartment for R's 7,000 per month with own living room, kitchen etc. R's 10,000 is too much if you are only after a 1 bedroom in Bannerghatta Road. I would strongly advise you to get an Indian to help you look as when I was looking they increased the price straight away because I am a foreigner. Here are some sites to get you going. sulekha.com 99acres.com craigslist.org Newspapers Freeads and Admags. I am moving this weekend but Bannerghatta Road is a good choice and safe. It's close to everything you need like shops, gyms, yoga classes etc and good bus links. All the best!! Freebird |

A friend of mine lives near Bannerghata Road. Rent for one bedroom apartment is 5000 rupees. BUT whereever she looked, they always asked for at least 10 month's rent in advance. Also, she had her Indian friend do the talking and the deal, because for foreigners the prices are very different than for locals.

It's October now, so I'm assuming that cdufour has resolved her accommodation issue one way or another ...
