Bangalore Aug-Sept '07; buying a place in BLR. Meet others?

Hello everybody, especially Bangalore IM'ers. I have just joined IM and would like to introduce myself. I will be in Bangalore Aug 28th - Sep 15th, I'm in the process of buying a place in BLR. After living in the US for 30 years I am so homesick for Bangalore. I still have a few friends in BLR but would like to increase my circle, I would love to meet other IM'ers in BLR.

You'll have to look up the end of that thread & see if one is currently being planned. If not, you could make a proposal of your own.

Note that this usually requires some planning ahead & may involve the usual frustration in not being able to agree on a date or venue or endless debates on the matter, the whole thing falling through, no one responding at all (the boohoo no one loves me syndrome ), etc. But it's worth a try right

Giving this thread a bump. We are having a Bangalore IM meetup on 19-Aug at Tandoor on MG Road. If we are meeting up at Tandoor directly then it has to be at 7:00 PM because that's when the restaurant opens.
