area to live around cunningham road/vasanth nagar
 

hi,

I am looking for decent area to live around cunningham road or vasanth nagar.
please suggest which areas would be good to stay in terms of bus connectivity etc.

Cunningham Road and nearby is bit expensive to live, i would suggest RT Nagar, Marappa Garden, MR Palaya, ITI Layout, Benson Town best area to live and to commute also.

I don't know what's your idea of a "decent area to live", but beware that Marappa Garden and MR Palaya are horribly filthy areas even by Bangalore standards.

Benson Town can be a lot costlier than Vasanth Nagar.

thanks bt Rt nagr will be bit far and bus connectivity to marappa gardens is also not good...
by the way where is ITI layout...

Nick87 it depends on how 'decent' an amount you are willing to spend! And to which location do you need bus connectivity regularly? All parts of Bangalore 15 Km around MG have good bus connectivity. If the cost of accomodation is not an issue you can find flats on Queens Road and Cunningham road itself. If you get yourself a bike ,then you don't have to worry about bus connectivity!

what i mean by decent area is that neighbourhood should be good, shud not be filthy, bus service should be good to cunningham road..
ya hav been to marappa garden..did'nt like it

i think marappa garden is in benson town area..so any suggestions from ur side...actually m looking for pg's

Cox town , Frazer Town, Cook town , St Thomas town, Benson Town,
D'costa Layout, Coles Road maybe even Kammanahlli ; all these places are within 4 KM of Cunningham Road and have very good bus connectivity.

In the decent parts of Benson Town, I don't think you'll find any PGs. You should perhaps think again about RT Nagar. It will add maybe another 15 minutes to your commute. And there are lots of buses too, with the added advantage that many start from there itself, so you might even find a seat. You might even look into the Vasanth Nagar area, -- it will be a lot closer.

any one aware of any pg in vasanthh nagar??

most of the pg in vasanth nagar are for gals.
for guys there is one in 17th cross ...you can check out that
