Hi, I will be moving to B'lore very soon (10 days) and dont know about the city except that my office is in electronics city. I am looking for fully furnished apartment, 2BHK and have a small family with my wife and daughter. I am just concerned that apartment be close to amenties and schools and also not much far from my workplace as it would take some time for my vehicle.

Any advise on this is very much appreciated.

I am a mechanical engineering student from the US. I will be working with GE in Bangalore between the dates of May 18 2009 to Jul 24 2009. I and another student are in need of ideas for locations to stay. We are not looking for anything fancy, just general clean accommodations that are not to fare away from the GE campus. If anyone has any ideas please respond to this post.

Hi davis45, I am planning to be in Bangalore from June to November. I am looking for a place with internet and security - I will probably have my laptop and will need to be able to leave the flat/house/etc without worrying about my passport or computer being stolen. I have no idea what to expect with respect to theft - I know it is a big deal in public places, but I don't know how it is in living situations.

Did you find a place? I would love to hear what it is like.
