| It's probably not on the form - I just can't remember! I know I've seen warnings re amount you can bring in, but that might be on the Australian immigration form. Still it's not going to concern OP if he's under the limit anyway. One thing to keep in mind however, is (and you haven't mentioned it so this maybe quite irrelevant) if you are buying a product and taking it back with you, there may be duty payable on re-entry to Oz.

| this is Brad. He's cute | And that can be up to the person you get at customs. The first time I got a guy from Goa, who just waved me through after chuckling about me wearing a dhoti, but I've never had to take home anything of any value. It's just always better to declare it. The queues are so much shorter.

I would be very concerned about a debit card without insurance as well as non-AMEX TCs because of the more extensive exclusions on those. I suppose the "giving money to the bank" refers to the opportunity cost of paying for TCs upfront. But, for short term travellers and those just taking it out of non-interest bearing checking accounts its a moot issue.. | |

| Maha Guru Member | As posted by Hal I don't remember any questions about money on the entry form for customs. Here are copies of Arrival and departure forms, I take them home with me and fill them in prior to my trips, saves time... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Maha Guru Member | One set was kept when I last flew into Goa and the other set was kept when I last flew into Delhi. But they are basicaly the same forms. I had no problems using the Delhi forms when entering Goa. |
