Travel Insurance

I am going to the Himalayan region for two months soon and have made an enquiry to a company I utilised last year. They came back with a cost of £135 which I think is expensive. Is anyone able to recommend a company that they have utilised that comes in cheaper. I am not doing any scary adventures sports or doing two week hikes by the way! Hi Carol, if you join BMC- British Mountaineering Council i think £30 GB at the moment for one year they have some great travel insurance ranging from travel to mountaineering and geared for world travellers, plus a bonus if you join once you get membership card and no most outdoor retail shops will give discounts for been a member. you can join on line or advise no is uk-0161 445 6111. ive been a member for years and always use them for overseas insurance

I don't know much about insurance or relevant companies but I have chosen to go with the company recommended by the Lonely Planet which is WorldNomads.com and I have been quoted £157 for 3 months. So your £135 doesn't sound too bad!
