pre-paid currency cards
Hi,
I've been lurking on here for a while but this is my first post so please be gentle with me! I'm looking into whether it's worth putting some money on a pre-payment currency card to take to India as back-up. I have 2 visa debit cards with the Maestro symbol & these work fine abroad but have been turned down for a credit card. Have any of you done this? would you recommend or not? I notice it would have to be topped up in pounds, USD or Euros so if I did do it, would it be best to get in USD? I look forward to your replies, cheers Titch x |

with a bit more investigation I've managed to answer my own question!!!
Caxton FX do a pre-paid global traveller card which you can load online and there's no fee for withdrawing cash abroad. Happy days! |
