Pre-paid Card advice
Hi All,
We are sending my son and his new wife to India for their honeymoon and need to know the best way to send money with them for meals/spending money. I've been advised to have them use an ATM card while there, but we would rather they have a pre-paid debit card or something like that instead of their ATM card. Any advice as to the best one from the USA to get? I looked at the Canton FX, but that's for UK folks only, is there a similar card in the US? Thanks for any info you can provide! |

ATMs (and a few dollars in cash) worked well for me -- no need to re-invent the wheel here.
Unless they are going to eat in very high-end restaurants, a credit card won't be as much use as it is in the US, where even McDonald's takes them.
