Not really travel-related, but....

Does anyone have any bright ideas as to how I can retrieve or extend the validity of my MobiKwik "Supercash"? This system has to be one of the biggest swindles around. They offer cashback on various purchases, recharges, etc, but it's not really cashback - it goes into you "Supercash" wallet of which you can only spend 10% at a time. Which means, of course, you can *never* spend it all, plus, there's a one-month expiry on it. Grrrrrrrrrr......

I saw one website suggesting you could do a "dummy" prepaid recharge via Tapzo, pay with your MobiKwik supercash, then when the transaction doesn't go through (due to the dummy number), the recharge amount gets sent to your Tapzo wallet, which has no expiry or funny conditions. But I haven't been able to get this to work.

Any other bright ideas?

You can do this trick with Tapzo. But while recharging a number you may need to add your own money with that Mobikwik super cash (as you can only use 10% of supercash everytime). When the transaction fails they will give you the balance in Tapzo wallet. You can try recharging a mobile number that does not exist so that it will fail for sure

I have Rs195 Supercash. which means I can use Rs19.5 in my next transaction. Are you saying the entire transaction value needs to be Rs195 or more in order for me to use any supercash? Because I tried to recharge for Rs200 in Tapzo using MobiKwik and it still wanted me to add the full 200 to my MobiKwik wallet, instead of asking me to add only Rs180.50 (and using 19.50 of my Supercash to make up the rest).

It should ask for Rs180.50 only!! The other apps I use using Mobikwik wallet asks me only to pay the amount deducting available Supercash.

There is no minimum limit. You can recharge Rs 30 also. It should deduct Rs19.50 and asks you to add Rs10.50 only.
When you connect mobikwik wallet in tapzo, it shows the available supercash there?

Hmmm, ok, this now seems to be working. Maybe it wasn't working because the sim card I had in that phone was not the sim card connected to my Tapzo or MobiKwik accounts. Now that I've put that sim card back into the phone, it's offering me to use my supercash. Yay!

So this is what happened:
I had 0 balance in my MobiKwik account, and about Rs150 Supercash. I put a fake number into Tapzo and recharged for Rs15. It allowed me to use my SuperCash, but it then refunded it *not* to Tapzo, but back to MobiKwik. However, it went into my MobiKwik normal wallet, so the process allowed me to effectively transfer 10% of my SuperCash into normal MobiKwik money. The next time I tried to do this in Tapzo, it would only offer to use the Rs15 sitting in my MobiKwik wallet - none of my Supercash. So I used that MobiKwik money to pay for something else from within MobiKwik, in order that my normal wallet balance would go back to zero. I then tried to Tapzo recahrge trick again, but this time it did not show any MobiKwik Supercash - the same issue I originally had. So I'm not sure what the situation is.

I've now left India, so the rest of my Supercash will remain unused and thus expire soon.

That is why Supercash was introduced by Mobikwik, so that nobody can use it completely
