Looking for the cheapest, reliable travel website

I am travelling to India later this month and I am looking for websites for air/train travel in India and to Kathmandu.

I have seen MakeMyTrip, Yatra, ClearTrip and TravelGuru as well as Expedia, Mobissimo and Travelocity but thought I might have missed others.

Any ideas or recommendations will be gratefully received.

TIA!

What I always do is find which airline is cheap in cleartrip.com , and then go to the airline company site and book it from there as booking directly from the company will be much cheaper than cleartrip, yatra or makemytrip.com

Cheers!
