Help! Changing in Rupees in Turkey
Hi There,
Here's the quick sob story... After a drama at IG Airport in Delhi (where the airline lost my booking), I ended up having to race through customs to make my flight, leaving me no time to change the 3.5k of Rs still in my pocket. I was assured by an airport staff member that there would be an exchange desk after clearing customs - and there was, but for Indian Citizens only! So does anyone know if it's possible to change these Rs in Turkey? I'm an Aussie student studying in Ankara, so I don't know the city/country very well yet. Thanks for your help! Pete |

Try finding an Indian and do a deal. The bank will screw you anyway.
