E Tickets

Hi

Just wandering can I book multiple rail tickets for differant sections and pay for all at once, or does each ticket have to be paid seperatley. Do they charged my credit card with IND Rupee or Australian Dollars.

Every ticket would have to been paid seperately.

I think INR would be charged to your credit card.

Just inform your card provider to authorise the charges for www.irctc.co.in

Also take a print of the e-ticket and while travelling carry a photo-id proof.

+1

also, please don't select the "book atleast one berth as requested" or some such option. In heavily booked trains, it will lead to cancelation of the ticket at the last moment (and waste of time) in doing that!

Thankyou

Tahnks for your replys. I assume if I use a Travel Agent which might cost a little more but could be paid for all at once is this correct. This would be cheaper than what my bamk charges for each transaction in Ind R.

Nope you're quite wrong. Unless your bank charges you a bomb on any foreign currency transaction! Online booking helps you keep flexibility as well
