i am visiting chennai next month. i will be carrying TC for CDN dollars. where can i get the best rates for conversion in chennai. Any particular recommendartion will be useful.

Please approach only authorized agents for the exchange. Dont go to the grey market. They may cheat you very well.

I would have gone to Thomas Cook or Western Union for the currency exchange.

Where are you going to be put up in chennai. Do let me know the location, so that I can suggest you a authorized agent nearby.

Carry USD in cash and TCs. Best is to use your ATM card where ever possible.
