Any banks *UK) still doing free international withdrawals?

Between my UK based and Australian banks, the former charing an outrageous 5.00GBP per withdrawal(!!!), I avoid thinking how much I've lost for simply withdrawing money. I spent most of my time abroad. The best deal I can find on a VISA debit card at the moment is Nationwide, that will take 1% for each transaction. So 2 pounds for 200 quid, which is much cheaper than my current HSBC or ANZ. Any other suggestions?

I've been looking into this recently as well, the nationwide visa seems to be the best bet sadly. They don't seem to be welcoming new customers with open arms (at least not at my nearest nationwide branch) before even looking at any of my details they made it clear that if I wanted to get the account I had to be quite persistant.
Good luck!
