I've spent over 2 years in the space of 6 trips to India and it feels like my second home. First visited in '94 and the place changed my life for the better. Despite this obvious connection I play acoustic guitar- influences include Nick Drake, Roy Harper, Jerry Garcia, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Ravi Shankar, Vishwan Mohan Bhatt..I'm 35 yr old and got married in Aug 2007 and work for the government in the Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland in Belfast. No kids..yet! I also like writing and have started compiling my travel experiences from the Motherland in the form of a novel. I'm planning an extended trip for the future as being a civil servant I'm lucky enough to benefit from unpaid leave for up to 5 years aka career break. To be honest I eventually want to move to India and spend most of my time there and visit Ireland as a tourist! Love the Indian Himalayan region the most and thats where I plan to go back to.
