About Me:
I'm a 23 years old girl from Denmark, I’m studying Southeast Asian studies at Copenhagen University, and learning Indonesia.
My first out-of –Europe-travel-experience was when I spent 3 months in India in03/04, volunteering in a school in Shiv in Rajastan plus backpacking both in north and south. I fell in love with India, and in Jan05 I went again, for 2 months just in the south, and this time around I brought my boyfriend with me. After India we backpacked through Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, having the time of our lives! And now we share a passion for traveling.
In April 2006 I went to Oz (this time on my own) Spend 1 ˝ months going up the east coast, enjoyed camping on Moreton island as well as Fraser, and meet some lovely people. But The Center and The Top End was probably my favorite places in Oz.
After Australia I went to Laos – LOVED it! Spend 2 fun and relaxing weeks there. The remaining part of my trip (1 month) I spend in Indonesia, loads of great memories!
My boyfriend and I are going to Morocco over Easter this year (07) for 15 days - we are really looking forward to that!
This summer (07) I’ll maybe go to summer school in Singapore, for 5 weeks and after wards probably go to Indonesia for 3-4 weeks – practicing my Bahasa Indonesia :-)
And in 2008 my boyfriend and I will (hopefully) venture of on a year long trip taking us from Russia back to India, and from Indonesia to Peru – totally excited! If we can save up enough money…
