Hi I am planning to visit Shillong in December end ( 29 to Jan 4 ). I need to know weather this plan is comfortable for my 9 month old daughter. Also I have plans to hire self driven car ( Zoom car ) from Guwahatti itself I checked and it cost 11k + 5k Security deposit for these days. Is this an good option ? I like to explore the whole place with our own freedom that is why looking for self car. Zoom car is only available in guwahatti. Any other suggestions or alternatives for this plan ?
Also better place to stay. I would like hotel bit far from city crowd as it would be peaceful plus less expensive.

Would a car and driver not help you explore the whole place with your freedom?

You could consider Pine Hill Homestay.

Temperatures will be a little cold as it would be the coldest part of the year.
A driver would make things more comfortable right? Rather than getting lost and taking care of the baby at the same time.
Nice place on the outskirts of the city? Try Annesville.

@aarosh: Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
I checked here it's 2.5 k per night. My budget for stay is 1 to 1.6k max. Do you think I get for this range a bit far from town ? Do you have something to meet this ? No problem if it is a bit far from Shillong but towards tourist spot directions.
