I with my wife & 5 year old kid wish to visit there for 4 days from bhopal. Pl. suggest which is the shortest/budget route by air.Pl. advice me any of the budget hotel around Rs.500/-. Tell me the nearby places to visit.
There are flights to Guwahati from all major cities. For latest fairs please check the web.
Shillong is around 3 hrs drive from the airport.
Nearby places to visit are Cherrapunjee(day trip) and Bada pani(its a nice lake-half day trip).
There are other nearby spots as well which can be covered in a day sightseeing trip.
