I am looking for sorting places to visit in sohra.

Itinerary is as follows. It is poached from one listed by karikor.
We are staying at sohra for two days. Want to know the places to visit during that time. We have listed all of them in the itinerary below. However, I feel it might be too much ? please provide your inputs. Thanks!

For example,

* 3 Nov - Proceed to Sohra. Sightseeing on the way. Halt at sohra stay
Upper cherrapunji : Saimika park, Mawkdok-Dympep valley viewpoint,
Wah kaba falls, Kharmih park, Dainthlen Falls, Arwah cave, Nohkalikai falls,
Golf driving range, Nongsawlia church and cemetry

8AM, lower cherrapunji : Ecopark, Mawsmai cave, Nohsngithiang falls, Thangkharang park, Khohramhah rock and waterfalls(nohkalikai, elephanta), Bottom of Kynrem falls and proceed straight to Tyrna via Mawlong village. Don't forget to check out the Golf Driving Range just before entering Kutmadan.
-- : Mawsyrwait cave

This is confusing.

7 Nov - Jowai - Sightseeing in and around Jowai. Head to Kamakhya Temple. Umiam / Kyrdemkulai /Sohliya /Marngar/ Umden. Halt at traveller's nest
Bramhaputra cruise, Tyrshi falls, Thadlaskein lake, Nartiang monoliths and Durga temple, Kamakhya and evening Brahmaputra cruise

How can you halt at Travellers Nest and also do Kamakhya in the same day

Just wanted to highlighted sun set in Meghalaya will be around 5 PM and around 6 it will be all dark.
* Laitlum please try to visit in morning session.

* 4 Nov - Trek to Double decker root bridge
Two root bridges, 3 suspension bridges*, rainbow falls, trek back up via Nohkalikai trek (if time and weather permits)*
--> Trek till rainbow falls will take around 8 hours .
we took around 9 hours with around 1 hr break at root bridge and rainbow fall. also do take guide with you as path to rainbow fall is bit confusing.

Please rearrange your itinerary and perhaps we can improve further. The most important thing right now is booking your accommodation. Things to do and sights to see can be adjusted since your skeleton itinerary is already fine

Hi,

So I will be reaching GHY at like 6 in the evening. Was supposed to reach in the morning but thankyou IR.

I wanted to know whether I will get shared transport to Sohra at late in the evening. Here for the weekender but wanted to explore first a bit.

Rohan,

It will be difficult to get shared cabs till Sohra. The last shared sumo from Shillong to Sohra leaves around 7 - 7:30pm
