Indian visa to my fiancee in UK

Guru's

My fiancee is a British Citizen. She was born in UK. We are planning to get married in India and I am an Indian Citizen residing in US.

1. What sort of visa do I need to apply for her? Is it a tourist visa? Or is there any marriage visa too?

2. And also her parents are British Citizens but they were born in Pakistan. Does this will be a problem for her to get the visa on time?

3. What documents do I need to send her for her application? Since we are planning to get married in India, we do not have any marriage certificate yet from UK.

4. How long does it take to get he visa?

I would really appreciate if anyone can answer this.

Thanks
Kewl

Pak origin is a Red Flag for visa's.

Search this site for Pakistan Origin or similar or browse thru the Visa Subforum, there are quite a few threads detailing Visa experience of People of Pak origin/history.

As Narendra has pointed out, and many threads exist on postponed marriages etc, on a practical level;

1 Get a civil marriage in the US.

2. Get the certificate attested by the mission under whose juridiction your state falls under.

3. Have her apply for an X visa in U.K based on the marriage certificate

4. When she eventually does get a visa, then plan a grand wedding in India. D'ont forget to invite the folks who give you good advice on this site

Otherwise, be prepared to buy MyLanta Plus by the case
