Hi
Relatively good and cheap option (but no wifi or anything of that kind) is Tamkha hotel 400m to the left from "Classic", take a right turn on the tank station. Classic hotel itself has an internet in the lobby, you can book it on MMtrip.
absolutely everything closes by 9, and you'll be strongly advised not to go out after that - and there's really nothing to do.
As for sightseeing i'll be happy if you advise me on any after your visit (apart from Kangla & War memorial).

THANKS ALL. AND ONE MORE THING I WANTED TO KNOW, WHAT ABOUT THE LANGUAGE, I KNOW HINDI & ENGLISH ONLY BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ITS MANIPURI LANGUAGE THAT IS SPOKEN OVER & I MIGHT HAVE GREAT PROBLEM IF I GO THERE AS I DONT KNOW MANIPURI OR THEIR LOCAL LANGUAGE.
WILL ENGLISH OR HINDI WILL SUFFICE ?
WILL ENGLISH OR HINDI WILL SUFFICE ? No problem. Hindi is widely understood and spoken like many other non-hindi speaking indian states. English is also understood and spoken, but not as widely as Hindi. I have visited IMphal many a times, had no issue in regard to language.
